      This reel is awesome. I have it paired with a 6' M, St.Croix Prem. It is the lightest rig. I can fish all day long with zero fatigue. I have brought in some decent bass with this reel. Very, very smooth drag. I can cast a long way when needed and the retrieve is so smooth it almost turns itself. If looks are your thing, this reel is beautifully made.

        Have only used it a couple of time with great casting from dock but line tangles with light weight. Will try a heavier weight. Plan on jigging for walleye this weekend and expect the reel to work perfectly. Also received a 9535 as a gift and plan on using it for river fishing very soon.

            I have caught many fish on this reel. The drag system is "very" smooth, no hurcky jercky hear. The reel is among the lightest, and is well built. The bail system is the best I have ever used. I fish every other day for at least 3 hours, and this reel holds up!! Hands down the best spinning reel I have ever used. Now go find a quality rod to match this elite reel to. Falcon, St.Croix, G Loomis...
