The large arbor-spool design provides improved casting ability and minimizes line twist. 7 double-shielded, stainless steel ball bearings and an instant anti-reverse, one-way clutch bearing. Lightweight graphite rotor. Sealed carbon fiber drag system operates smoothly. The Arbor Rod employs larger guides for easier line flow and greater casting distance. IM8 graphite rod with split-grip cork handle.

          This is a great set up! Only problem I found was the rod guides, but thats just personal preference.
          Reel is excellent, great components if take your reel apart compared to reels in the same class/price range. (Gandermountain GSX Titanium series is within the same price range, but a HORRIBLE reel, faulty drag system) Another plus side to this reel is that its designed to handle braid!

            I use the reel for Spotted sea trout and reds I like the reel and rod but, It comes without a spare spool and the other reels I bought without the rod did, I guess I just assumed it did come with a spare spool, so I was disappointed when it didn't I gave it a four just for that.
