This kayak is rudder ready. I installed a rudder from the same company that made this kayak. Tracks really well and straight. I'm 6' 1" and fits me perfectly. Lots of storage. Easy to carry.

This Yak is great, fishing out of it is so easy. Added a fish finder and more rod holders and made it a real fish hunter. I would recommend this yak to anyone wanting to fish out of it.

I live in Coral Gables, FL. with lots of canals, and marsh. Also need to go out into Biscayne Bay to get to various inside canals, waterways, etc. Also, want to fish so atability is important. A:
Try one that is less then 12 feet. I have a Ocean Kayak Caper, just under 11 feet. Easy to maneuver but big enough to carry all my stuff and me (250 pounds). Good luck.Answered on 8/27/2010 by surge from Deltona
