Q:I live in Coral Gables, FL. with lots of canals, and marsh. Also need to go out into Biscayne Bay to get to various inside canals, waterways, etc. Also, want to fish so atability is important. A:Try one that is less then 12 feet. I have a Ocean Kayak Caper, just under 11 feet. Easy to maneuver but big enough to carry all my stuff and me (250 pounds). Good luck.Answered on 8/27/2010 by surge from Deltona
