Comments about Pelican Boats Pelican Pursuit 140 Kayak:
I installed a endura c2 46 trolling motor on mine with outriggers for fishing (easily removable for converting to normal kayaking). Ran it on open lakes and rivers.
Had to install a bilge pump for river use. Takes on a some of water in the rapids. Very unstable without outriggers. Wouldn't recommend in white water unless your experienced like me. Had it over a year. RamX scratches easily. Had to repair several gouges, although never had any holes. But I did take it through rocky rivers and down a small waterfall (lol, by accident). Very long boat. If paddling, make sure both people are experienced or you will find yourself spinning around in the rapids. I bought this boat due to limited storage where I live. I use it for fishing, kayaking and motoring. I love it. Working on installing a 2hp 4 stroke gas engine for the lakes.
