Product Description
pelican O-ring sealed with an automatic pressure equalization valve, these cases are watertight, crushproof, and dustproof. Designed to keep your firearm protected with strong, lightweight open-cell core walls and a three-piece foam set. For portability, these cases are equipped with polyurethane wheels and fold-down handles. Interior measures 50-1/2" x 13-1/2" x 5-1/4". Exterior measures 53" x 16" x 6-1/8".

      Totally Amazing. I have at least 4 cheap cases that I previoulsy purchased from the local cheapie places - typically $20 to $50 each... none of those survived a round trip on airlines without a crack or broken locks..
      The pelican is convincing that it will take all abuse. Their guarantee states "no matter what, they'll fix any issue for life". If I spent the money originally - I'd never have bought those four other lousy cases..
      Just do it - buy the pelican - you will never regret it.

              • A:

                The Short answer is "Yes", Long answer is individual carriers have additional restrictions placed on sporting good, or weapon cases. Mostly "case must not be damaged or damage other luggage in normal baggage handling" or something to that effect. That said, I've never had a problem with any Pelican case with any airline.
