Comments about Carry-Lite Peep'n Tom Decoy:

I used this decoy last year to kill an old dominant bird that would not come off another property. I set the beard about 2 inches long with just the strutter head, then put out 2 hens and a jake feather flex set and hit the gobbler call by H.S. Now when using the gobbler call I did very short gobbles to sound like a jake and the strutter was dead at 16 yds in a half an hour. I am sure the decoy and the call were the answer because I got him on the second to last day and had tried earlier in the week with no sucess.

Comments about Carry-Lite Peep'n Tom Decoy:

on opening day of the Ky turkey season i was on a mission to kill my first gobbler. that morning the birds where absolutley silent. spooked 2 off the roost goin in. we set up in an open river bottom and set up Pretty Boy (peepn tom's brother) and a floozie hen. called every 20 mins for hrs and out of nowhere we heard a gobble about a 100 yrds off. 10 mins later i heard a twig snap and a spit and drum and out he stepped. once he saw Pretty Boy, he was ready to kick his butt. i cut him off before he could, 5 yrd shot peppered him! Incredible xperience! 1st gobbler 2 or 3 yr old w/ 10 in beard and 1 in spurs

It does not come with a real fan, but it comes out of the box ready for a real fan if you have one... I highly recommend using a real tail fan if avalible.

It comes with a cardboard fan and I used it, but it does give a little glare, the directions state to use the cardboard one until you kill a bird and then use that one for next time. I decided not to use the one that I got with the decoy becuase it was my biggest bird at 30pounds, but have since found one a friend had laying around and it is defintely a improvement.

All turkey decoys have stakes with them, unless otherwise noted. So, this will have one.
