Product Description
peak Peak 7" Wireless Backup Camera Kit

The Peak 7" wireless back-up camera kit works with your backup camera system to keep your family members, pets, and possessions safe from rear rollovers. The kit comes with an easy-to-install camera that mounts to the license plate, as well as a transmitter that connects to your back-up lights, and a 7" color monitor that can mount to dashboard or windshield via suction cup or to visor or headrest via Velcro straps.

The Peak back-up camera system allows you to have a 110-degree viewing angle and more than 10' of viewing range and allows you to see what is behind your vehicle without turning around. Every time you put the car in reverse your system will activate. When your transmission is not in reverse mode, the screen and system will not be on and won't pose any distraction to the driver. The monitor can also double as a monitor for video games or portable DVD player as it features an audio/video input jack and built-in speaker.

Comments about Peak 7" Wireless Backup Camera Kit:

After I purchased it, I reseached reviews on this unit. LOTS of people complaining of the extremely short transmitter range. It has to be less than 2ft to be even slightly effective. Problem is, camera and power cords are WAY too short to accomplish this. Mine was less than 3 feet (directly below drivers side of frame) and it just cuts in and out or if one it could get static lines then cut out. Not good while you're trying to back up. Never did get a constant steady view of what's behine me. You may as well get one that you have to run the cable into the cab if you have to get that close (within 1ft) with a wireless for it to function.
