patagonia Like world explorer Nellie Bly, the Bly GORE-TEX Hiker ventures off the grid and off the map. Ideal for hiking and backpacking, this hard-working, mid-height shoe pairs a waterproof, full-grain leather upper with a highly breathable 100% polyester mesh lining. The Bly's waterproof/breathable GORE-TEX lining and gasket construction shield you from dampening weather, while the 3DM triple-density (15% recycled) compression-molded EVA midsole provides incredible cushioning and support specifically for women. The 40% recycled PET, 60% polyester collar and tongue mesh lining yield added breathability, while the 2mm (15% recycled) EVA insole delivers extra cushioning where you need it most. The POLI-CORK (70% recycled) open-cell foam footbed uses carbon to neutralize odor and cork to move moisture naturally. The Patagonia Air Cushion Plus absorbs shock, while the 0.8mm TPU shock distribution plate and abrasion-resistant rubber rand offer added protection underfoot. The 3mm nylon 6.6 injection-molded arch shank gives optimum support under the arch and a natural flex at the ball of the foot. Multi-tread Vibram Ecostep outsole with 30% recycled rubber delivers excellent traction in a variety of conditions. 100% recycled polyester laces. Medium width, medium toe box, and medium arch/instep. Imported.
