Comments about Overton's Overton's Vinyl-Coated 15-lb. Mushroom Anchor:
I use this in open water on the Tennessee river , with only a 1.5 to 1 length to depth ratio in moderately windy and waves it holds my boat very nicely. I recommend it .

Comments about Overton's Overton's Vinyl-Coated 15-lb. Mushroom Anchor:
We bought this anchor for our Master Craft X30. It holds the boat nicely and so far the paint is holding up. I have read some reviews that said the paint begins to flake... regardless... I would buy this product over and over.

Comments about Overton's Overton's Vinyl-Coated 15-lb. Mushroom Anchor:
I purchased this well priced anchor last season. Unfortunately, the vinyl coating has flaked off and the underlying metal has produced a rusting mess. This anchor was only used occasionally in a fresh water lake in TN. I am disappointed that the coating hasn't held up better. I guess you get what you pay for.

Comments about Overton's Overton's Vinyl-Coated 15-lb. Mushroom Anchor:
I was very satisfied with the order process and time it took to get the anchor. I use the anchor but would suggest going with a company that produces an anchor with a larger base and a complete vinyl coating. I just received my fishfinder yesterday which was backorderd and will begin installation soon. Your phone staff are very helpfull, polite and I can understand them. I also appreciate being able to take advantage of using a catalogue with the 20% discount that I saved for this order. Thank you Overton's. I did want to buy a Minn Kota trolling motor from you but didn't carry the model I wanted. Two out of three not bad. Thanks again.

A:
This anchor is recommended for boats up to 16ft. I would recommend looking at a fluke style anchor like item 72107Answered on 7/20/2009 by Ryan from OvertonsA:
