Great quality set of seats!

I purchased these to replace seats in a boat that I recently purchased used. The old seats had wood bases that had rotted out, and the vinyl was completely degraded. These seats fit perfectly and now my boat looks brand new inside again. I like the fact that the bases are made of plastic so they are completely waterproof. The vinyl is a good quality too.

Excelent product for the price

Extremely easy to put together, even for the most novice. The seats are great looking, unfortunately I cant say the same for the quality of the base. The base's are very flimsy, they bend and lift off the deck if anybody leans or put the slightes pressure against the side of the seats. I am affraid they might one day crack or break at where they are secured. The instructions dont tell you that you can cut the base to lower the ride hieght of the seat which would have been helpfull. The seat base is also much smaller then the original base so you have no idea what you are screwing into. I had the bad luck and managed to hit my fuel fill hose. I think i could come up with a sturdier design. I would say all an all they are not to bad.

Used to replace old seats. Color matched what I was expecting. How the seats sit on the base is a little flimsy, but I love the fact the base is plastic and will not rot like my old seats did. They were easy to put together and install. My 9 yr old daughter was able to do most of it herself.

We used this product when we were restoring our ski boat and they look great except they are very cheaply made. First trip out and they are broken. It would have been worth it to spend a little more money to get the better seats. If you are going to use the boat often, I wouldn't recommend these seats.

  Plywood is not necessary and will eventually rot after getting wet or damp. You can find out shipping by filling out an order on our website and it will tell you before you enter your card number.

What is the inside demension of the base? My old bases slipped over 1 by 4 that is fiberglassed to the floor. Or, what is the thickness of the base material? I have the outside demension, so if i new how thick the sides of the base were then I could figure out if they will fit without alterations. thanks.

Q:
Would be using these seats for an 18' 1968 Starcraft Holiday. The transom deck is 25.75" high above the floor so these jumps would exceed that in height. Does the vinyl fabric extend over the the top and down the back of the seat enough (2" min.)? Also on the stern port side this boat has an original steel gas tank, the dimensions of which are 16"w, 18"d, 12"h, and the bow end of which projects 14" minimum from the transom interior drop fascia, so I want to make sure your jumps will allow for this tank. I also need to know the width of the jump seats to see if I'd have to rebuild the I/O engine enclosure.

  Base: 10" H x 14" W x 13.25" D
  
  The seats are completely vinyl wrapped, so you would have to worry about the back of the seat not being covered.
