Comments about Overton's Overton's Daystar 16-oz. Marine Carpeting, 6' Wide:
Used 16 Oz Daystar to carpet the floor of my 1939 Ford street rod. It took some time to make the cuts over the trans cover correctly, but the overall job looks great. I also plan to use it to carpet the trunk.

Comments about Overton's Overton's Daystar 16-oz. Marine Carpeting, 6' Wide:
I needed to replace some carpet on my fishing boat and this looks great. I am very happy with it and I am glad they sell it by the foot. I will need more and you can bet I'll get it here. It showed up in no time. I can't believe how fast it shipped. There is nothing bad I would say about this carpet. Can't wait to get it in. The fishing season is right around the corner. I also thought the price was great. Thanks Again.

Comments about Overton's Overton's Daystar 16-oz. Marine Carpeting, 6' Wide:
CUTTING THE CARPET WAS MESSY AND A NIGHTMARE. DO NOT USE A RAZOR, USE SHARP SCISSORS.LOTS OF MATERIAL HANGING OFF THE CUTS I MADE, IF YOU TRY TO PULL THE EXCESS AWAY IT WILL CAUSE A RUN IN THE CARPET,BUT IN THE END, IT LOOKED GOOD. JUST TOOK LONGER FOR THE INSTALL

Comments about Overton's Overton's Daystar 16-oz. Marine Carpeting, 6' Wide:
Was surprised by the quality of this carpeting. Very nice and would highly recommend as a less expensive alternative. I just replaced the cockpit floor of my boat and it turned out terrific. I used the less expensive adhesive Overton sells as well. So far so good.

Q:
I would like to replace the old and saging material that was used on the interior hulls and bulkheads would this material be too heavy to use on vertical surfaces and is there a lighter material you have to offer that may cost a little less. I'm looking at hundreds of square feet.
