Fast-response engineering, easy-to-read dial with 5° graduation marks, built-in adjustment compensator, and movable sunshield. The 12-volt light illuminates the compass for nighttime use. Outside dimensions: 5-1/8"H x 4-1/2"W x 4-1/4"D. Bracket pad: 1-5/8" x 1-3/4".

          I purchased this compass for my smaller boat. It is a great fit for the 13' Livingston. Although I don't venture far from shore, the fog sometimes surrounds me and I need this compass to point the way. So far it has been reliable.

            I have a 30 foot Pontoon boat in which I travel on the Inland Lakes of Michigan and in the Great Lakes. This compass is easy to read and larger than I anticipated at time of purchase. The quality for the money is excellent. I have seen many lessor compasses in Marina shops that cost much more than this model. I am very satisfied with my purchase from Overton's.
