Very pleased.
The carpet was exactly what I expected.
I am a novice and was able to install it on my boat and jetski docks that I had built.
I even saved money by buying the 24" wide roll and cut it into thinner strips.
This was easy as well.
very satisfied

This material started unravelling right away on first trip. Get to lake ramp and the guy next to me says your bunks is comming apart. I check and the carpet is unravelling and hanging on all bunks. For the price and from Overton's I expected a quality product. Will not purchase bunk material from Overtons again

Replacing the carpet on my boat trailer bunkers, this was the best value as it comes in sizes that fit without much cutting. The stainless steel staples also are a good investmsnt.

Comments about Overton's Overton's Boat Trailer Bunk Carpet, 24" x 12':
I found myself with a trailer that had no bunks at all. The boat I am putting on the trailer requires the bunks to be 8' in length.I shopped in boat supply stores and also online. All I was finding was very expensive carpet that may or may not do the job. Typically the rolls were narrow, meaning that I'd have to buy two rolls. This product is perfect. Long enough and wide enough to do two 8' bunks. Very good quality and easy to install. Doing a fine job.

Q:
What is the best way to attach the carpet to the bunksAsked on 6/1/2009 by Anonymous2 answers
CUSTOMER CARE
A:
The best way to attach the carpet to the wooden bunks is with staples. We have staple gun kits (item 73614) and you can also upgrade to Monel rustproof staples (item 73615).Answered on 6/2/2009 by Michael from OvertonsA:
Outdoor carpet glue sure helps if you use it along with the Monel staples. Helps attain a really tight fit. Give it time to dry before using the trailer, takes awhile too.
Air stapler that uses T50 staples is a good investment and costs little more than a manual stapler. You will be surprised at how much you can do with it.Answered on 7/24/2009 by Skybill123 from North Florida
