overtons This automatic inflatable PFD keeps wearers cool and comfortable with little restriction. This greater range of motion is perfect for fishing and other inland water activities. Designed with interior pocket for extra CO2 cylinder and zippered external pocket for storage. Also features neoprene comfort collar, attached safety whistle, and D-ring kill switch. Inflates automatically upon immersion or after pulling cord. Provides 26 lbs. of buoyancy. USCG approved Type V with Type III performance. Shipped ground only.

    Bought to use on my bass boat, needed a pfd I can use while casting all day. I was able to cast with it but I found myself taking it off when the weather got hot. I would like to set it to manually inflate upon water entry when fishing and to auto inflate when driving the boat but its not that easy to convert on the fly.

            By law they are only for adults 16 and over who weigh over 80lbs. So a 9 year old is too young, and 75lbs too light. Part of the reason for this law is that those younger than 16 may also not have the presence of mind to be able to use the manual inflation tube should the auto-inflate fail.....
