Product Description
overtons Lightweight, hot-dipped galvanized Fluke-Style Anchors are designed with strong, wide flukes for fast penetration and maximum holding power. Fully welded crown configuration provides the right angles for a secure hold. The Fluke-Style Anchor stows flat and can be used with most fluke-type anchor storage systems.

The #8 Fluke-Style Anchor Kit is designed for use in clean bottoms and varying surf and wind conditions. Kit contains one #8 anchor, one coil of 3/8" x 100' nylon anchor line with thimble, one coil of 5/16" x 6' galvanized chain, and two 5/16" galvanized shackles.

                  If you have never used this type of anchor before, plan on spending a few extra minutes learning how to get it to release for retrieval. No complaints on holding power, or ease of deploying. The kit that Overton's has assembled takes any guess work out of the purchasing process for newbs. Just be sure you learn how to use it before you drop it off into 30' of murky water! :)

                      The anchor kit was as desribed in the sales literature. I use this kit as a second anchor for the stern of my boat to hold it from swinging into other boats when anchoring near the beach. It seems to work well for this purpose. I have found no issues with the quality or design.
