Really nice cleaning kit for the entire arsenal. I purchased one for each of my sons and they were extremely excited. That is saying something since they are both teenagers. After our recent deer hunt in West Virginia they proudly pulled out their respective kits and cleaned their rifles. The wood case is very handsome and will serve our weapons cleaning needs for decades to come. The kits don't come with solvent or oil so you will need to make sure you purchase and store them separately.

Poor materials both rods and one thread addapter broke within the first 2-3 uses. Hing pins fell out of the case. Kept a few of the brushes and tossed the rest.

      Since I grew up using outers products, I purchased this set. They need to offer, solvent ,and oil, oh and gunslick again! This set is flimsy compared to my older sets, I will use pieces of this set to complement what I already have, the execs must be reaping some big bonuses, cause they are not putting profits back into company. The quality of this kit screams that.

      Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

      The parts included will fit most calibers/gauges but there is no oil and no cleaning solution. Worse yet, there's no place to put it once you buy it seperately. If you add the cost of those additional things, you might be better off getting a more complete kit.

              There should be markings on the collar of the brush. If not use the brush that fits the most snug. You are not going to damage the barrel by putting a slightly bigger brush in.
