Product Description

This kit has everything you need to debone and butcher deer and elk. Includes a 41⁄4" caping knife, a 41⁄2" gut hook skinner, a 53⁄4" boning/fillet knife, a rib cage spreader, and game cleaning gloves. There's also a wood-bone saw which is diamond-cut three ways for easy cutting, a nylon roll-pack/belt scabbard, and a tungsten-carbide sharpener which quickly adds a fresh edge to your knives. These knives incorporate full-tang construction and are taper-ground to a razor's edge from high-carbon 420 stainless steel. Ergonomic Kraton handles are designed for comfort and a secure grip. The kit comes in a lightweight nylon roll pack that converts to a hip holster with plastic knife scabbards for easy removal and cleaning. Lifetime warranty.

I bought the trophy kit that OUTDOOR EDGE has and took it antelope hunting, and deer hunting. the kit that i bought just had the saw and a skinning knife, and i was able to gut and skin 6 antelope and 1 mule deer before the knife finally started to lose its edge. my uncle had the same knife i did and we both came to the conclusion that we love these products. I got the butcher lite kit just after hunting seasons had ended so i mainly used this kit for processing without any problems, the knifes are still as sharp as when i took them out of the package. as for the rib spreaders, i'm not planning on using them on an elk, not quite big enough in my opinion. Deer and smaller they should work perfect.
For christmas i got a Butcher Lite kit for my grandfather so he doesn't need to use my knives and he won't spend most of the time sharpening his knives to get through an animal or two

This was given as a gift. We got two of them for our boys who love to hunt and fish. Now they can take care of any of their game they get on there own. They will be putting this to good use alot and look forward to having it for a long time. gets four stars only because we have not tested them out yet. But plan on it soon and they should hold up fine.

This set worked better then I expected. My friend and I like cutting up our own deer. Had to sharpen the knives once or twice for 2 deer. But we like having sharp edges. The bone saw needs to be bigger and the handle larger. Was better then using our hunting knives and regular knives and saws.
