I put this sling on my 11-87 for hunting this year. It looked cool and was easy to put together. I had to adjust to make the sling as long as it could be, just so it was comfortable. Overall, not bad.

            It is a nylon material and it is not padded. We do have some that are padded in our gun accessories tab
