I bought this 2 months ago. I dont know how I lived without it! This allows me to wear my insulated(more comfortable) work boots year round. Every time the boots are off my feet, they are on the dryer. In the morning when I put them on my feet, they are warm and dry. Even the mud and debris thats caught in the outsoles are dry.
I use really thick, work boot insoles, and the dryer completely dries even under the insole. My athletes foot is gone now. This is a wonderful tool for anyone who wears boots all day.
The only issue I dont like is the absence of an on/off switch. It would be nice and really easy to just push a switch rather than bend down to the outlet and plug and unplug it. Also with the boots on it, it is quite top-heavy. A heavy weight in the base would counter that.
I have thought about modifying it as above, but I dont want to ruin the warranty.

Bought this about a month ago and am very happy that I did. Super quiet, you wouldnt even know it was on but it dries and heats up your boots fairly quickly.
