        A product like this depends on a couple of setups. We are not sure if it was due to the electrical or the product not syncing with the boat.We are very pleased with the Trumpet by Ongaro Marine.

            Can I buy just the mounting brakets seperatly I need to make left and right side for the dual horns and braket is not reversable this would work foir left and rights. Or can we buy them with these mounts on the horn part not the front mount?

              A:

              This horn is a wired horn, and not a handheld manual aresol air horn. This would be wired to a power source and a momentary switch. Hope that answers your question.

            I have 1988 Searay and the horn fell off. still working. This might be good replacement what is distance from back of horn to front mount?

            • VERIFIED BUYER

              A:

              It should not matter, The front mount moves forward and aft as needed. Just slide the front rubber bushing to where it mates with the existing front screw holes. I have a 1987 SeaRay Weekender and the horn was easy to install. I needed to move the screws at the base to allow the wires from the bulkhead to go directly into the horn housing. I use silicone under the rubber seal that came with the horn. The included rubber seal covers everything I needed to move, and with the addition on the silicone I expect it to be completely waterproof
