Comments about Old Town Saranac 160 XT Angler Canoe:
Fitted with a Minn Kota RipTide 55s on a silly bracket that locks into the side. Not sure about that yet. But motors beautifully, Having fitted an extra seat I have a 100amp hour 12 volt battery under the forward bench seat. I did have to cut some away and would suggest only doing so if you have an extra seat other wise you are playing with the structure to much. We have 28kg in motor 35kg in battery 100kg (me)70kg (my wife) 23kg child and 18kg other child it paddled just great with all this we can still carry other items safely with large carrying capacity not what we will do with a big catch though. Our first outing was in 10knot winds and a little choppy we had some water in, not a great deal I was impressed. I am so glad we have purchased this brilliant angler canoe. Keep up the good work.
