Comments about Old Town Dirigo 106 Kayak:
I use this fishing, got a rod holder that clamps on, love trolling or just sitting back and relaxing and casting or still fishing. Nice for traveling along the banks watching for birds and animals, it's quiet and you can get right on them. Love the adjustable seat, and the cupholder is a great place for my car keys and fishing licence. (S) LOTS of storage, just a nice kayak!

Comments about Old Town Dirigo 106 Kayak:
We purchased two of these last spring, and have used them for moderate river rapids, lake erie, steelhead fishing, and just lazy days on the river. Would recommend this kayak for beginners as well as more seasoned kayakers. It is big enough to hold plenty of gear for picnics, camping, and fishing.

Comments about Old Town Dirigo 106 Kayak:
This has been a great kayak that I got a lot of use out of this past summer, and I plan on enjoying many more adventures next season. I've been canoeing since childhood, but I really like the freedom that a kayak offers.
I have used this kayak on lakes, large ponds, and rivers and have not had a single complaint. The padded seat is quite comfortable and the adjustable seat back has allowed me to be on the water for many hours without getting a sore back.
For a relatively short kayak, it tracks nice and straight. The adjustable foot rests are much easier to use than other kayaks I've used. It glides through the water with little effort and it is whisper quiet... once allowing me to get within a few feet from a bald eagle!
I have not gone on any long-distance or overnight adventures with my new toy yet, so I can't really talk about the storage capacity.
All in all I would highly recommend this kayak!
