Comments about MPI Products Oil Drain Kit - 12mm x 1.75 Thread Size:
The concept of this product is good (to drain the oil without making a mess.)
Unfortunately the design comes up a little short. The hose will not fit through a standard drainplug hole. I didn't want to drain the oil into the bottom of the boat, that was the reason for buying this. Returned it.

Comments about MPI Products Oil Drain Kit - 12mm x 1.75 Thread Size:
If you have a "standard" 1/2" drain hole, don't get this. The hose does NOT fit out the drain hole. I tried 2 different ones from this manufacturer and neither one fit out the drain hole.

Allows you to drain the oil pan completely. Easy to use. I have connected mine to an oil drain pump and can use it anytime, not just when the boat is out of the water.

You unscrew your oil plug and replace it with this drain hose, that has an oil plug on the end of it. It is for easier access to the plug when you want to drain you oil.Answered on 12/23/2009 by Bryant from Tech

For use with '96 or newer Chevy 350 and 454 engines and replacement oil pans. We have no way of cross referencing boats. We can only go on engine type. As long as your engine falls in this category, it will work for you.Answered on 9/17/2009 by Bryant C from Tech Department
