Comments about Ocean Kayak Caper Kayak:

We use the kayaks, two of them, for day trips around local lakes. They aren't too heavy to carry together down to the water's edge. They track well in wind or choppy water. They drain water well also. The only con is that the side handles are almost worse than no handle because they squash your hand against the inside of the kayak if you try to use them. Fortunately, we don't need the handles. The front and back handles work quite well. And the carriage compartment in the back holds what we need.

For those getting into the sport, once you know you like it, then get a good paddle. A light, strong paddle makes everything about kayaking more enjoyable. Also get a kayak paddle tether. And get some good life jackets that do not ride up on your body, and which allow free paddling motion.
