Comments about Northland Fishing Tackle Buck-A-Roo Jig Bar3, 1/8 oz.:

Went walleye fishing this morning with Buck a Roo jig. Went 1 for 4 on fish, two were confirmed steelhead and the other two were unknown. All were large fish. Both the 1/8oz and the 1/4oz jigs snapped at the shank and the third straightened out. I was using a medium action, 7 foot rod with 10lb. flouro. I wasn't horsing the fish in, drag was set appropriately, they just failed. I thouht the first was a defective product, the second I questioned whether I was too aggressive, and the third confirmed it was the poor construction of the jig in general. The only fish I landed was with a jig I hand tied.
