Product Description
nikon Armed with Nikon's Ultra ClearCoat Optical System, Monarch 3 Eyebox Technology, and a smooth zoom control, the Monarch 3 Riflescope sets the standard for mid-sized scope performance. High-performance, multi-coated lenses are cut, polished, and coated with multiple layers of ultra ClearCoat optics and anti-reflective compounds for 95% light transmission, improved contrast, true color rendition and flare-free viewing, and enhanced image quality. Nikoplex reticle features thicker posts on the top, bottom, and sides and thinner center crosshairs for precision aiming under all light conditions. Eyebox design with a huge ocular provides 4" of constant eye relief without sacrificing your field of view. Smooth zoom control with magnification reference numbers viewable from the shooting position, making adjustments in the field quick and precise. Rugged, one-piece, 1" main body tube is oxygen-purged, nitrogen-filled, and O-ring-sealed for 100% waterproof and fogproof protection. Spot On ballistic match technology allows you to discover all of the exact aiming points on the BDC reticle for your specific ammo and load.

Comments about Nikon Monarch 3 Riflescope, 2.5-10x42, BDC Reticle:

So I won a great Kimber rifle at a Ducks Unlimted (DU) dinner. DU bought the gun from Gander Mountain which included a 10% off coupon for any gun purchased as an add-on to the prize.

When I went to Gander Mountain to buy the scope (which is a nice scope), they said I didn't buy the gun so the 10% off coupon wasn't part of the deal. I think it's cheap of them to not at least honor the DU purchase of the rifle as an honest purchase and allow 10% off the cost of the scope. DU clearly thought it was part of the deal and promoted the gun with that coupon. It just seemed kinda cheap of Gander Mountain...
