          I bought these to take back a pair that malfunctioned of another brand. I thought I would pay some bigger cash to get some quality. I opened the box and was shocked to see no case, but a form where I can send in $15.00 for a case. Are you kidding me Nikon ? After about four months something went wrong with them as now you see double of everything, and yes other people see it too. After calling Nikon they were receptive and since under warranty they said they would take care of me. Neat binocs, no case is really cheap, and I'll give Nikon the benefit of the doubt for quality on this one as things happen once in a while. From my experience though, if you want a great binocular get on ebay and find someone who is selling what their grandparents had. The quality is amazing from the older binoculars.

            Bought this for my husband for hunting. He loves them! I use them to for watching the birds in our yard. They are great. Love that they are light weight. My husband loves that they are light weight and have shock absorder built in to the eye pieces.

            These are very nice binoculars. These are very expensive binoculars, so I was very surprised when I got home and there is no case included. To add insult to injury, there is a card that one can fill out to buy a generic looking, non Nikon marked case for 15.00 dollars. They are nice enough to ship it for free. Nikon, give me a case when you sell me a pair of binoculars. C'mon Man !

                          Are they waterproof/fogproof?? Will they work well for a Michigan bowhunter. As a side note, will binocular harnesses/binoculars be in the way of a shot when drawing your bow?? Any information would be most appreciated.
