Love these lights
Used these docking light on the 4th of July after watching fireworks on Beaver Lake. They really helped me navigate to my dock in the dark. They are great and easy to install.

Comments about Optronics NightBlaster® Docking Light Kit:
These work great for the rear deck of our House Boat. I am replaceing a set that have been installed for 10 years. The housing rotted away from the constant sun. The lights still work fine ; but I had to tape them in the housings. ( kind of Tacky ) 10 years of service at that price isn't bad!

When I first received the lights they were broken. When I called they handled the problem immediately at no additional cost to me. They had UPS pick up the damaged lights and sent me two new sets that I received within a couple of days. I was impressed.

Q:
Does this light have a heat vent on top that water should not get in or it will damage or destroy the light? I just had to return some lights to another vendor because of this problem; the bracket that held the light was designed so that you could not turn the light over so vent faced down. I had wanted to replace my old lights that were mounted on the front of my pontoon. Also, I'm looking for a light(s) that will allow me to travel at a slow speed at night on the water and provide enought light that I can see floating objects 20-30' in front of my pontoon.Asked on 7/17/2010 by Steve from Athens, AL1 answer

CUSTOMER CARE
A:
This is a docking light not meant to be submerged underneath a platform. You should consider item 24927 which is meant to go underneath a swim platform.Answered on 12/23/2009 by Justin from Overton's Technician
Q:
what do the mounting look likeAsked on 7/27/2009 by bige from lexington ky1 answer
A:
It could look like this [_]. Or it could be that part that comes down out of the light. That part could just have a protective sleeve over the mount so you can't see it or get damaged.Answered on 8/21/2009 by Duke Johnson from GLSM
