3 Black Bear in 4 years with my crossbow. Yes, I'm extraordinarily lucky. The Horsehsoe is lodged so to speak. All killed on Private land in the mountains of Va. ALL taken with 125 grain Spitfires. I've taken 3 deer with them as well. There are no other broadheads going on my carbon bolts that's for sure. To note: All game taken with my Parker Buck-Buster HP 175.

Comments about New Archery Products Spitfire 125-Grain Mechanical Broadheads, 3-Pack:

After a lot of research trying to find what mechanical braodhead to shoot from my barnett buck commander I settled on the NAP Spitfire over the rage and glad I did. Shot a doe Oct 2 2011 quartered from front took out one lung nicked the other and part of intestine complete pass through. She ran may be 50 yrds. When found blood trail looked like someone dumped red paint on the ground. Good size entry/exit wound. Blades never broke off just had to wash dirt off blade and good to go. Awesome product. Talked to buddy after the kill and Oct 1 2011 he took a buck w/spitfire as well he said he'd use again and he hated the idea of mechanical broadheads

I use these for deer and turkey hunting.
they let a big hole and make for easy recovery.
I have used other mechanical and fixed blades and
            I will only buy these.

2 Black Bear in two years, 3 does...all with 125 grain Spitfires shot out of my Parker HP175 cross-bow. They don't open in flight, but when they hit their mark, it's devastation. Nothing goes far & the bloodtrails are massive. The two bear went less than 75 yards each..one doe went 40 yds...the other two less than 100. Headed to G.M. at lunch to get another 3-pack. Negatives - they never go on sale & are often out of stock.

Comments about New Archery Products Spitfire 125-Grain Mechanical Broadheads, 3-Pack:

Been using these broadheads for about 5 yrs and have taken about 10 deer with them. Started using them in a barnett revolution cross bow last yr. Only complaint is that the blade retaining screws tend to strip out. Strongly recommend using the practice blades. Using the hunting blades for practice is what damages the screws. The screws can't take the wear of opening and closing many times.
