I was considering switching to the RAGE when I sell my old bow. However after seeing what the Spitfire did that will not be happening. The entry hole was amazing, blood spraying out like a hose. The deer ran 25 yards and piled up. After skinning, I discovered the far side shoulder was cracked.

Unless you are guaranteed the textbook broadside shot this broadhead is nothing more than a [$] field tip. I recently had a quartering shot on a buck. The shot looked good but I had very little blood trail. When I did find him the arrow was next to him on the ground with all 3 blades still in the closed position. So basically he was shot with a field tip! If not for good shot placement, (I caught the lungs) I most likely wouldn't have found this one. I'm off to buy some "RAGE" expandables!!!!!! I've heard they "paint" the woods with a blood trail!

This is one BAD broadhead a freind told me about these so I got 3 100grain and tried them, ALL the deer that I have shot haven't ran no more than 40 yard max the blood trail you can follow easy. I been using them for at least 7 years and will not use anything else untill they stop making them.

Switched from fixed blades to Spitfires 7 years ago. These broadheads are awesome, great blood trails, but animals usually fall within eyesight. Would recomend everyone give these a try.

Flies true and good penetration. I shoot a Fred Bear Epic Extreme pulling 62lbs. Have used these for years and after shooting a 400lb Russian at 25 yards which only ran 10 yards before flopping over I will use these for many years to come.
