I bought this item on the strength of a previous purchase from Gander Mountain in which I received outstanding service across the board, and also on the strength of having owned a pair of Nevados sandals of another model. These proved to comfortable and rugged to a degree that defies comprehension. I wore them 16 months, almost daily, working and recreating in them. I have high hopes for the Strands I just bought.
