Product Description
netbait Extremely versatile, loaded with scent, and wildly unpredictable in the water, the soft plastic Paca Craw cannot be fished wrong! Its large, patented claws have a helicopter effect, which causes maximum water disturbance and unbelievable action, and slows the decent of the bait. The Paca Craw's hollow-body design can accommodate a large rattle, or can be used as a reservoir for scent, giving it extra fish-catching appeal. Comes pre-loaded with salt, anise, and pork fat for an irresistible scent that drives fish wild! Solid plastic butt end keeps it from sliding down the hook. This tube can be buzzed, flipped, Carolina rigged, pitched, floated, or used as a jig trailer.

Comments about NetBait Paca Craw, 5":

Over the last two seasons using this swimbait in small lakes and ponds in Michigan and Ohio, it has become by far the best producer in my tacklebox, catching dozens of largemouths plus a black crappie and a small walleye, in the Watermelon color. I recently tried the Natural colored ones at a small, rather murky pond that was supposed to have only panfish and catfish, and caught a 12" largemouth on my first cast and a 14" bass two casts later.

I use this with a 1/16 oz. VMC Wacky Weedless jig head, fished with Suffix 20lb braided line on either an ultralight or medium-light spinning rig. I've only lost one swimbait/jighead to snags with this combination (it caught on a log and the wood's sharp edge frayed the line) and it has done a great job of staying mostly snag-free through heavy lilypad and weed cover. I've been using a medium retrieve, with intermittent pauses and light jerks to increase the swim action.

This bait has a better swim action than either the Zoom or Gander Mountain crawfish swimbaits and either that factor or perhaps a combination with the salt and pork flavorings in the bait, attract bass better than other similar swimbaits. I figure I was catching three bass with this Netbait for every two I was catching with the Gander Mountain crawfish (has a double-barreled body) and for every one bass I caught with the similar-appearing, but weaker performing Zoom crawfish swimbait.

The NetBait crawfish also seemed about twice as durable as the Zoom craws (and was about the same as the Gander Mountain craw swimbaits), and I was able to catch up to about ten bass per NetBait lure before the rubber started to rip.
