Product Description
Enjoy better operating speeds, improved visibility, and greater stability with the economical Nauticus Smart Tabs SX Series. The one-of-a-kind Smart Tabs system is speed-regulated, requiring no operator adjustment while underway. The system uses a nitrogen gas actuator which stabilizes your boat without the use of hydraulics or electric switches. The amount of "lift" provided by the actuator is determined by the load rating and trim plate adjustment done at the time of installation. The system can be specifically tuned to maximize the performance of any power boat, and tracking ribs have been added to improve handling at higher speeds. Smart Tabs can be assembled in seconds and installed in minutes - the only tools required are a drill with a 3/16" bit and a Phillips screwdriver. Molded composite construction offers rust-free, corrosion-free protection. With smoother, faster acceleration, 40% less bow rise, and a 35% lower plane speed, Smart Tabs SX are the ultimate trim tab system for skiing and tubing.

I bought these tabs for my 22 foot Maxum and installed them myself in about 45 minutes. They are awesome. Keeps the front end down and perfect hole shot. I HIGHLY recommend these to anyone. They work 10X better than Stingray Hydrofoil that installs to the stern. Keeps the boat level even in rough water. I sound like I work for this company but I'm just that satisfied with their product.

      this product does what it says. easy to install, took it out for the first time and could not believe the difference Bow stayed down and higher top end speed. I was with friends and they could not believe the difference.

        The tabs were shipped quickly. But the description on the instructions says lock nuts. There are no lock nuts that came with the product, only regular plastic nuts and I can loosen them by hand. You can't torque them down or you break the mount tabs. A tube of marine grade silicone should be included with this product. I have not tested them yet so I hope they perform as advertised.

            The entire product is made of plastic except for the screws. The quality appears to be poor. This product was not installed and returned to Overton unused.

              I purchased a set for each of my boats because when installed on first boat the results were as advertised. However the tabs are not built to last they rusted out in a season. Also the plastic connectors gave way and I had to use zip ties to keep them secure. Water sccumulates under the ruber shock boot and cause ram to corrode. I checked price to replace just stabilizer shock and it was almost as much as purchasing new. Switching over to manual trim tabs!

                  they have 5 tuning adjustments on the tab. by moving the actuator mount on the tab, you increase or decrease the presure. its simple
