The clip-fed, 5-shot, bolt-action Springfield Model 1903 was the primary battle rifle of the U.S. military from its introduction up until 1936 and saw action as recently as Vietnam. The Model 1903 was based on a Mauser design, but differs from other rifles of the time by using a two-piece firing pin. Produced during the 1960's, the 1903s made by National Ordnance were built using quality parts and went through significant testing for safety. This rifle features a post front sight with an adjustable rear sight. Its wood, metal, and bore are all in good condition.
