Comments about Muck Boot Woody Sport All-Terrain Hunting Boot:
I've used these boots in Alaska and North Carolina big game hunting. They are absolute must haves for hunting in Alaska where one encounters wet and extreme weather on a routine basis. Don't worry about ripping these boots. They are tough enough to walk through the worse terrain, and then go into water without worry.
Also, they are the most comfortable rubber boots I've ever owned.

Comments about Muck Boot Woody Sport All-Terrain Hunting Boot:
I bought these boots after my cousin raved about his on our very wet upland hunting excursion in ND during Late December/ early November. Temperatures were chilly and it was a very wet year (2009). I stopped on my ride home and picked up a pair. I finished out the hunting season with these boots using them for MN upland hunts, as well as deer hunting. They seemed to keep my feet warm with thick socks and they certainly saved my hunt as it was extremely wet in Thief River, MN near our hunting area. This year deer hunting I'm not sure how, but half way up the front of the boot, I found a tear in the 1st layer of the neoprene. For not needing to be very gently with these boots, I'm satisfied with their performance. Even with the rip in the front of my boot, I submerge these boots while hunting and they have not taken on water. They feel like slippers and fit well on your calves if you have some beefy calves.
Like the other review, they feel best with medium to thick socks.
I only wish they were a full scent proof (not advertised as such) but I wear them bow hunting as well. Didn't seem to be a scent issue as I had multiple deer pass through at 30 yards and under!
