Comments about Mr. Heater Original Series Heater/Cooker:
This heater will heat up your ice shanty pretty quick
but it won't last long with the one pound tanks about 2.5 hrs. on low setting. If you have a portable flip up with a plastic floor you will need to raise it up off the floor or else it will melt your floor quick. I wouldn't recomend it for your hunting blind either because its loud. The wire to the shut off sensor is flimsy and broke on the first use and I don't know who would come up with the idea of putting a large plastic warning sign hooked to it that started melting the minuite I turned it on. Better off paying a little more money and buying the buddy heater.

I have used this heater for several years in my hunting blind and ice fishing shack. My kids say they won't come along unless I bring it along. Works very well.
