Comments about Mountain Hardwear Women's Urbanite Traveler Jacket:

Disclaimer: The jacket I own is from a couple of seasons ago. I don't know if the design of the jacket has changed since then, but it looks exactly the same in the photo.

This is a really beautiful jacket! It is very well made and the cut is very feminine and stylish. It's semi-close fitting but not tight, except perhaps the armholes which are a little snug. I'm usually a size 4 in tops and jackets, but I had to get a 6 in the Urbanite. For reference I am 5'2" and 116 pounds. The size 4 fit me in the body but the armholes were a bit too tight. The size 6 is a little long in the sleeves, but I don't mind that. Better too long than too short! It's very lightweight and packable, great as a light layer for when the temperature drops but don't expect to stay dry in a downpour, it's only resistant to light rain. The hood is great, low profile and fits close to the head. It's not super warm, but it's one of my favourite jackets for milder spring and fall days or cool summer evenings. I think I'm going to have to get another one in a different color!
