        Stretchy Softshell for Active Pursuits

        Best Uses

While it's proportionally a little snug at the hip (I've put on a few pounds in my 50's) for how roomy it is in the shoulders, I still like the fit. I am 5'8" and 175 lb. and wear an Apex Bionic in Large that fits snuggly and is an effective softshell, but has no wiggle room for active pursuits. Since this fabric has a little stretch I can live with the snug bottom band (I may lose a couple pounds?) and it is worth it for room in the shoulders to move. I have long arms and broad shoulders, but small breasts, and most jackets have ample space in front but tight, too-short sleeves and are tight enough across the back to constrict movement. So it may not look as fitted on top as some jackets, but I feel like I could golf in it, or cross-country ski, or reach for a distant handhold without the jacket restricting my motion.

Love the jacket. Very comfortable. The longer back and soft cuffs make this jacket look and feel stylish. Perfect for what I needed. This jacket fit better than any other brand I tried.
