moultrie The 6.0-megapixel M-100 Game Camera from Moultrie packs tons of advanced features into a convenient mini casing. Three operational modes (IR-triggered game camera, time-lapse plot camera or plot camera by day, infrared camera by night) give you versatile image capturing options. Choose from three digital zoom settings for capturing images. The Illumi-Night Sensor captures exceptionally clear images at night due to its greater infrared power. The M-100's 16:9 widescreen images and videos provide a wider field of view than standard game cameras. Delay pictures between shots in 15- or 30-second intervals and 1 to 60 minutes. Records barometric-pressure reading, temperature, moon phase, time, date and camera ID stamp on photo strip. Also records video and sound. Features password-protected security, battery-life calculator, external power port (sold separately) and SD memory-card slot to accommodate up to a 32GB card (SD cards sold separately). Easy viewing 2" LCD screen. Powered by 4 or 8 AA batteries (not included). Includes USB cable, mounting strap, and Plot Stalker software CD. Imported. This combo package also includes an extra battery tray for fast replacement in the field and a removable 2GB SD card to hold even more footage.

    Very happy from June until September. That's when the first camera worked. No issue, great pictures and videos, about 10,000 and changed the batteries once. Then one week before hunting season started it died.Purchased another one, used it all hunting season and into winter without a hitch. Getting ready to put it back up so I can see the newborns. I think for the money and having a display and taking day/night pictures and videos you can't beat it. Maybe I will take back those words if the one I have now also dies around the 10,000 picture.

    This was my 1st trail cam. The day photos are excellent. Night photos are too bright from too much infared (objects are glarring white). Does NOT handle movement well-pics blur. Biggest problem is batter life. Package says very boldy 1 year battery. Mine lasted max 2 months on new batteries. Set to take 2 pics 1 minute apart. Then stopped working at night with batteries at 25%. Emial from cust service said "Change the batteries"!! What kind of unit quits working with 25% battery life??? Would have to set unit to take only 1 pic at a time 5 minutes apart. lowest quality pic to get to last one hunting season. No hunter uses the camera this sparsely. About half of the pics were of nothing.

          I bought this camera a few weeks before hunting season, I read all the reveiws and decided on this one. I'm glad I did this camera works great it takes 30 second video during the day 15 second after night fall when infa red feature is on. I havent use the time lapse plot feature. If you only want it to take piture I'm sure the battries will last, but the video feature tends to use them up. (hence I buy the cheap ones)...Quality of pictures and video are great. You will be pleased with this trail camera...

                I have read the reviews and noticed some people are having problems with the camera not working. I had this problem also, after messing around with it I found out that if your SD card is not formatted properly the camera will not work not even turn on. If you take your card out and view the pictures on your computer at home make sure to format the card when you finish viewing them I know this will delete any pictures on the card but you can save them to the hard drive before formatting. After figuring this out I haven't had any problems with the camera. If your night pictures are to bright usually means your camera is set to close to where the game will be, try moving the camera back a few feet. Also lithium batteries will last all season.

                  I first purchased 6 of these and set them up at feeders and watering holes. They took great pictures so I went back and bought 4 more. I haven't had them long enough to comment on the battery life yet.
