Comments about Moultrie 55-Gallon Pro Magnum Tripod Feeder:
Great value considering how much it would have cost to build this from seperate pieces. Only suggest would be adding a funnel to the bottom of the barrel.

Comments about Moultrie 55-Gallon Pro Magnum Tripod Feeder:
Great product I have been running moultrie feeders for 6 years. I tried some of the other guys feeders and had nothing but problems. My only beef with these feeders is the clearance between the funnel and the spinner plate is not enough for corn with a little trash in it to feed through. So I use washers between the feeder bottom and the barrel to increase the clearance. I will never buy another brand of feeder Thanks Moultrie and Gander Mountain

Comments about Moultrie 55-Gallon Pro Magnum Tripod Feeder:
good feeder for the price, but if you don't want the legs folding and collapsing then don't use them. I have 3 of these feeders! trust me! go to [...] and spend a couple of bucks on some pipe for the legs. otherwise the feeder is pretty good. oh yeah, keep an eye on your spinner plate, they have a tendacy to come loose.

Comments about Moultrie 55-Gallon Pro Magnum Tripod Feeder:
Use feeder for corn and pellets. I have owned for two plus years and this is a great feeder. Will need to add a funnel becasue of the flat bottom, which I fould out after using the first year. Put a funnel in from the start. The first set of batteries have worked for two seasons. This is a great feeder for the money. Would purchase another one

Comments about Moultrie 55-Gallon Pro Magnum Tripod Feeder:
I put some time into researching the different feeders on the market and I didnt think you can beat the price on this [$]. I'm completely happy with what I got for the money. The broadcaster is made of metal, not plastic as I was assuming it would be.I'm a little worried about what the bears are going to do to it. I think I might add another pole to each leg to get it higher off the ground. I bought a Big Boss metal funnel for it, and the moultrie plastic top (the cheaper of the two), I decided not to use the plastic top.I also bought the moultrie feeder feet, I would recommend them as well.

Yes, 3(sections)poles per leg. stands about 5' to bottom of feeder. The pro magnum takes 2 batteries and they last for months feeding 2 times per day. I set my first one out 3 months ago and it still indicates 100% charge.Answered on 7/21/2009 by steve w from clearwater, Fl.
