Product Description

Grab the handle, pull the feeder out of the box, add some feed, and you are ready start feeding. This easy to use feeder comes assembled with batteries and is simple to program. The digital timer can be set to release feed up to four times per day for one to 20 seconds at a time. The metal spin plate evenly spreads feed preventing a pile of deer feed from forming under the feeder. Four AA batteries supply enough power for four months of field life.

Easy to set up. Easy to program. It took me only a minute or two to set up and program, because I am a man and I don't to read directions (very man friendly). The best thing I like is the AA batteries, no more big 6 volt . You can't beat the simplicity of the unit, changing batteries is a snap. Oh by the way, the 4 AA batteries last surprisingly long. Best units I have bought yet.

Set the feeder up, set the times, tested and all appeared great. Came back a week later and it had not run once. Checked all the settings, tested and it worked fine on test. One week later it seemed to have worked fine. Opening day it went off right on schedule, but did not work on the second day. Appears that the batteries drain pretty fast, especially when the temp drops. I will check again next week and if it has not worked it will have to go back.
I really hope it works as I like the size, capacity and ease of use. For my little area it should be great.

Worked great before the coons destroyed it. For the price this is a great feeder, light, easily transported. The digital timer set up was very easy. Just wish they would have made it a little bit tougher especially against varmints like raccoons!

While watching my hunting buddies fumble around with battery packs and poor guality timers I can't help but laugh knowing that they are going to be looking at me with envy as I easily set the timer and then expand and fill my feeders. I love it!!! When will they learn!!

I bought this with the excitement of having a feeder to keep the does in close. I found that the feeder only works about half the time. I would go to fill the feeder and find that it was still full. I then tested the feeder in the field and found that I had to spin the plate by hand to get the plate to spin again. The feeder would start working again for a short time and do the same thing. Very frustrating!! I called Moultrie and got Zero Support. They wanted me to buy a new one through them for full price. I only had this feeder for less than two months and it only worked correctly for 2 weeks. I called Gander Mountain and they said bring it back. I still love Gander Mountain but will not buy another Moultrie Product EVER AGAIN!! Fearful I may have to deal with their customer service again.

I use this product for hunting. This product seems to be what I was looking for and has served it's purpose for my hunting needs. I have no problem with battier life and it feeds on it's scheduled times.

  Depends on the feeding setting. I have mine set on 6 seconds or about 1 pound per feeding at twice per day. It holds about 30 pounds of corn so I need to refill it about every 13-15 days.
