This is a very lightweight rifle. It is hard to believe that a rifle like this is so cheap. I had priced the S&W but when this came on sale for [$] I jumped on it. I bought it in 6/2011 and shoot it about once a month but have shot around 800 rounds with it. I had about 1,500 Remington .22LR's and have gotten maybe a dozen jam's out of the 800 I shot. I noticed that after about 100 rounds it needs a light cleaning. Haven't taken it completely apart yet, due to the complexity. Youtube has good video's on this. I've bought 1,100 Federal .22LR's to see how they do compared to the Remington. A friend of mine at work said that he get's better result's with Federal over Remington and has another kind of semiauto that never jams with Federal but does with Remington. If anyone knows of better ammo to shoot with it, please post. I saw a video on Youtube that someone posted using Aguila ammo. One of her bullets did not eject and another bullet jammed right through it. You need to pull up these folks to see what you can learn from others before you make a mistake with some bad ammo.

Poor construction, mold marks on every surface, adjustable stock sags when opened all the way. Actually feels like a plastic toy (and not a very good one) in your hands. Fires well. Fine for utility and range use but if you are looking for a quality gun with respect to fit, finish, and function, this may not be a good choice. More attention to quality of the molded parts would greatly improve this gun. They have put a great action in a really dismal wrapper.

this is one great M-4 look alike at a great price . will put 10 shots in the size of a quarter at 50 yards with CCI 40 gr. shells .
TIP: if you want to add a optic sight and still be able to use the open sights , eat a popsicle clean and dry the stick , measure and trim , drill hole for bolt to pass thru , place under rail on carry handle . it will than give you clearance to use factory sights !

Comments about Mossberg® Plinkster Tactical Rimfire Rifle:

I just got it as a birthday present and ran about 90 rounds through it the first day. It only jammed once and was easily cleared. It is really fun and cheap to shoot. I highly recommend this gun to anyone who wants to have a light AR type rifle with all the customizing options and still be cheap and reliable.
