The .22 LR caliber 702 Plinkster is made to the high standards of quality of Mossberg international with the balance, feel and accuracy of rifles costing much more. Whether hunting small game, serious marksmanship practice or just plinking around, the 702 Plinkster fits the bill. It features an automatic bolt lock keeping the bolt open, after the last shot is fired from the magazine. Barrels are free-floated and feature a 1 in 16" RH twist for superior accuracy. Every Plinkster comes with a free gun lock and a 1-Year Manufacturer's Warranty.

'synthetic' is a fancy word for plastic, the entire gun is plastic except the barrel and mag... jams a lot even when clean, and has poor accuracy at best. i put a nice BSA scope on it, and i still only shoot it when i feel like rapid firing something...
