The heart of Mossberg's Just-In-Case package is the venerable 12-gauge 500 Pump-Action. Each JIC shotgun is fitted with a compact 18-1/2" barrel and a rugged synthetic pistol grip and forearm. The basic JIC II shotgun is a takedown 500 with a matte black finish and includes a set of tools and a 5.11 Cordura soft carrying case. Cylinder bore choke. Bead sights. 6-round capacity. Made in the USA.

No misfires,failure to feed.or unejected shells. the only issue i had was that the follower in the magazine tube was a little sticky at first but after working it a few time it loosened right up. I always have one of these with me and a box of 000buck. Another great product from mossberg.

          Great self defense shotgun.Mossberg offers many add-ons which is great to upgrade the shotgun with extras.It shoots excellent.I only have shot rifled slugs in it.Recoil is very heavy with the rifled slugs but manageable.
