Q:is this a good gun for dove hunting?Asked on 8/13/2010 by cheese from lillington, NC
A:This little lightweight 20 has a very nice spread-pattern for all bird hunting, remembering it is a pump and not an auto. Light enough to lug-around all day but good knock-down power for all (short Range) hunting 80 yds or less for me, it never fails (well my eyes do every once and awhile) but the weapon never has. Very affordable price as well. This is my 5th Mossberg, I shall retire from deer hunting with this one and pass it down to my youngest grandson "Rick-Colton"..But not quite yet, it's almost Nov.Answered on 10/16/2010 by Ole PaPa from South Lyon Michigan
