Created by combining the work of a Belgian firearms designer and a Russian Amy captain, the durable Mosin-Nagant M1891 was used by the armed forces of the Russian Empire and the Soviet Union for decades. The M1891/30 is a modernized design introduced in 1930. The most significant changes from the original Mosin design to the 91/30 model are a spring attached to the magazine base plate and a clip that can hold five cartridges to be loaded simultaneously into the magazine. This surplus rifle was imported by PW arms and features a 1929-manufactured Ichevsh hex receiver. Its wood and metal are in good condition and its bore is in very good condition.
