The reel is great. Very smooth and has great line capacity. The rod on the other hand isnt so great. The first time I took it fishing the tip snapped off. The rod isnt very well constructed but it does cast far.

Mainly used for northern and largemouth. Casts great with good feedback. Still using a Mitchell from the 1960's. Great quality.

This rod lasted 2 casts and the tip broke off during the 2nd cast. When I returned it to the store the girl at the desk said "we are getting a ton of these rods returned". Maybe it was just the batch my local store had.
