    I shot a doe with my bow and we had to track it after dark. My buddy and I ran to a local store and I purchased one of these lights to help in tracking the deer. The first time I hit blood with it, it lit it up like a fluorescent light!! We were able to track the deer easily and found it lying in the creek. I never go into the woods without it now. Another nice feature is that you can use the red and green lights individually, so that you don't need to carry a separate flashlight to get to your stand!!

        My husband got this as a gift a couple of years ago for Christmas. He only had to use it once. Then a buddy lost his deer. We didn't know about this until almost a month later when it was found by other hunters. That prompted me to get out my husband's Primo Bloodhunter to show our friend, and also to find out where he could get one. Remember, this 'gun' had been in a drawer for two years. The battery was as strong as it was after the first charge! Needless to say, I am very impressed!

            i use this light for deer hunting and works great, blood light up like a christmas tree, grass, leaves, on the ground, or even out in a mowed down cornfield. my wife uses it now so i will def. buy another one. but i never had to use it in the snow, since blood is red you know, very easily visible! :)

                          Just had this a few days. I tried the light on a red Chinese tossle with the lights off moving it to each setting. White light blood washed out. Changed to Green only then to red only,still the red tossle was washed out. Then put the light in the green/red mode and the red tossle really turned red. This I plan on using when I get an evening deer. Excellent product.
