Comments about Milennia MIL-PRV15 Gauge-Style AM/FM/USB Multimedia Receiver:
Good Idea but built poorly. I have a 2012 Dlv carolina skiff so i wanted something small. I didn't want a cd player just a radio and something for my i phone. First out the box I had trouble I wasn't getting any power to the unit. I fiddled with the inline fuses after about 30 mins double checking everything with a test light and it began to work. I thought ok this is great. Went out on my boat about 6 weeks I only go one day a week and the volume will not go up or down. So again it looks pretty cheaply made and it is.

Q:
Where are the aux plug and usb connection? What is the best way to utilize these connections?Asked on 2/15/2012 by Nick from Crystal River, Fla3 answers
A:
I bought one of these radios. The USB plug is just that a USB cord hanging 3". The Aux. plugs are white and red banana plugs. They offer a neat remote socket that can be wired to the radio. Its about $28 and has a neat little door on it. That way it would be easy to plug in your Mps players or whatever....hope this helpsAnswered on 4/8/2012 by Diesel Dave from OregonA:
All of the inputs are wires coming out of the back of the unit. The front face has only simple controls and is sealed very nicely. Inputting your devices must be done from behind so that makes installation location crucial with this unit. The aux plug and usb plug are both in the bundle of wires behind the unit. I would suggest that you purchase a cheap jump drive and fill it with music--attach it and leave it on board. You will have instant access all the time to your favorite music---and if it does get damaged, its very little out of pocket since jump drives are so cheap nowadays.Answered on 3/15/2012 by gcredle from NC
Q:
What speakers do you reccomend for this unit?Asked on 2/14/2012 by Chuck from Robins, Iowa1 answer
A:
Chuck, I was looking at this usit as well. Since Overtons will not answer any questions here, I will try to help you. I would recommend any outdoor marine speaker, but would also recommend going through an amplifier if you are into your music, as I don't beleive this will push the volume as much as I would prefer.Answered on 3/20/2012 by Gary from Wagoner, Oklahoma
Q:
What does the actual USB input connection look like?
Can I simply plug in a USB flash drive?
Can it drive just two speakers or does it need to have all four?Asked on 1/27/2012 by Steve from Texas2 answers
A:
The USB connection is actually a female plug cabled out of the back of this unit and yes you can simply plug a small USB jump drive in. Please be aware that the unit can only play MP3 formatted music through this input AND there is no "menu" for choosing songs from the USB files. You can only scroll up or down through the (500?) songs one at a time. Fret not though, the AUX input lets you use ANY MP3 player device like Ipods or cell phones, on which you can play any format music and more importantly, build multiple playlists. Overall a fantastic unit...we love it. Read our complete test at www.lakegastontoday.net.Answered on 5/9/2012 by Hank from Lake Gaston, NCA:
You can plug in jump drive/flash drive. On the back of the unit there is a drop down cable for the jump drive attachment. The cable is built into the unit and has a normal usb attachment head.
Your choice if you want to use only two or four speakersAnswered on 3/15/2012 by gcredle from NC
