Communicates at a range of up to 18 miles in open areas with little or no obstruction. Adjustable transmit power from 5W to 1W. Channel Scan mode automatically checks all channels for activity. Emergency channel 16 button provides instant access to emergency information. NOAA Weather Alert Radio w/Weather Scan automatically locks on to your local weather channel and alerts you to severe weather. HI/ LO Power Settings allow you to adjust transmit power and conserve battery life. Three different call alert tones notify you of incoming calls from your group. eVOX (easy voice activation) eliminates the need for an external microphone. Package includes one NT1 radio, belt clip, one desktop holder with mounting hardware, rechargeable batteries, headset, one owner's manual, one waterproof bag, DC adapter, and one AC wall adapter.
